He continuously follows her for her acceptance but Varalakshmi accepts his love only after knowing that he is her childhood friend.
Everything goes well for sometime, one day her father gets to know about her love with Veerababu and plans her marriage with guy who is the son of a Village head. After getting married both of them will reach Veerababu’s house for the blessings of his parents. His father who gets dazed with the situation tells him that Varalakshmi is the daughter of his maternal uncle. Performances:
Siddharth gave a tremendous performance in the role of a village guy. Though he carries an image of a lover boy he outlined his acting in very good manner. The hero also managed the slang of East Godavari in a good manner. Siddharth plays the role of a son in a good way as we have seen in “Bommarillu” the same he continued in Bava too. He gave his best as the son of Rajendra Prasad. Pranitha looked beautiful and gave the best performance in Bava when matched up with her first film. Totally she maintained well to carry of the role of Varalakshmi in a great way. Rajendra Prasad did extremely well in the role of a father. His experience helped him well and he portrayed simple scenes in an extra ordinary manner. Brahmanandam and Ali parody scenes are hilarious. As usual they entertained the viewers well with their expressions and dialogues. Coming to the movie the songs are good but they require some more efforts to be great. Moving to the screenplay it is said to be average.
Analysis:
The film comes across as a complete comedy entertainer at the start and with the likes of Rajendra Prasad and Siddarth, the caliber of the stars gave a lot of promise. However, it is due to the poor writing and a very amateur narrative during the second half which spoils the entire momentum. It looked like the director lost complete grip over the script and indulged in too much of melodrama and overdose of sentiment which spoiled the fun mood of the viewer. The continuity got disrupted as there is a total contrast to the first and second half. Overall, the film scores on technical points but fails in content and narration aspects.
Rating: 2.5/5
