In 2009 State Nandi awards Magadheera won 9 awards in various categories followed by ‘Konchem Istam Konchem Kashtam’ with four Nandis. The committee has announced the award winners list on Thursday at Hyderabad. While the Best actor award was won by Dasari Narayana Rao for his performance in ‘Mestri’, Teertha won the Best actress award for her performance in ‘Sontha Ooru’. The best film award also went to ‘Sontha Ooru’.The biggest blockbuster film of 2009 ‘Magadheera’ won 9 awards. They are Best Entertainment Film, Best Director, Best Choreographer, Best
Special Effects, Best Editor, Best Costume Designer, Best Sound Engineer, Best Art Director and Special Jury Award for Ram Charan Teja.
