Story:
Seenu (Varun Sandesh) and Avantika (Nisha Agarwal) are Generation X couple who make love first and marry next. However, their marriage ends up very soon due to ego problems. Then the couple decides to go ahead with life and plans to remarry different persons. Seenu meets Nimisha (Nisha Shah) and Avantika finds Yuva (Shahshank). Seenu and Avantika share their experiences of love and hate to their wannabe next wife and husband. After few cinematic situations Seenu and Avantika takes a predictable decision to solve their problems.

Analysis:
Friendship-Love-Marriage-Divorce-Reunion, this is a formulaic process that was shown in many films. Yemaindi Ee Vela is director Sampath’s take on it.

However, this director tried to be bold with his narration. He didn’t hesitate to go beyond the borders in few scenes. He showed cyber cafĂ© romance and also the culture of young girls who stay in women’s hostels in Hyderabad. The director showed that making love prior to marriage is quite a common thing in these days. With all that sleaze Sampath tried to titillate young audience.
After that the film takes the beaten to death path and bores you with mediocre happenings on screen. Any person who watched at least fifty Telugu films could easily predict what happens towards the end of this film. With such a weak storyline on his hands, director should have gone for novel treatment.
Sadly he didn’t do that and Yemaindi Ee Vela ended up as a boring film that the audience only would wait for it to end.

Performances:
Varun Sandesh once again irritates you with his American accent Telugu. His attempt to mouth dialogs in Telangana accent is a big disappointment. Nisha Agarwal looks like her sister in few angles. There is so much she should learn about performing before the camera. Nisha Shah sizzled in a glamorous role.
Shashank is just Okay in his role. Vennela Kishore excelled and is the only relief in this boring flick. Krishna Bhagavan and MS Narayana are standard.
Others did according to director’s wish.

Technicalities:
Nee Navvule... song is pleasing melody. Other than that Chakri’s contribution to this film is minimal. Dialogs written by director himself are average.
Bujji’s camera work is not bad. Production values are noteworthy.
Director Sampath Nandi should have selected better script for his debut. He had the guts to show the reality but it is wasted on a weak script. If he focuses on better scripts he could find a place among the current set of filmmakers.

Final Word:
Yemaindi Ee Vela is an amateurish attempt to attract the college going audience. There is not much stuff for them to stay glued to the screen even.
